This pattern can result in the chronic tension and inability to relax.
In the Assana practice we will work with main triggers which cause weeknes in stability and postutre and help to build the essential strenth with mindfull assana practice
We will work on the building strenth for efficent movement of body and relaxationn of chronic tension in muscles and fascia.
Essential work of the Longevity Yoga is pelvic floor muscles, which are crutial part in correct posture and corect breathing and efficnet movements. It i snot just a strenth of cegel excersise but deeper leyers of pelvic floor muscles.
Mindful movement and body awareness are essential parts of this practice. When one becomes aware of their limits and blocks, it can help to relax the tension and observe which movements feel good and right, and which do not. For advanced practitioners, it can be experienced as a moving meditation.
Pranayama, or breath control
Pranayama plays a crucial role in Longevity yoga. It involves observing and incorporating the breath into every posture and movement. However, many individuals have incorrect breathing patterns, often stemming from obstructions in the diaphragm movements and related breathing muscles.
A significant portion of our practice is dedicated to cultivating diaphragmatic breathing, as a start of any Pranyama practice. The modern lifestyle promotes the habit of contracting the abdomen, leading to stiffness in the abdominal muscles and ribcage, hindering deep breathing. Through our sessions, we aim to release these blockages and enhance breathing efficiency.
Relaxation
The most crucial part of the class is the relaxation at the end, as it helps to calm the mind and induce deep relaxation. By mindfully exploring within the body and consciously releasing tension, we develop the valuable skill of relaxing our bodies at will. It is common for people to fall asleep while still holding onto tension, waking up without feeling truly relaxed. Through mastering the art of relaxing both body and mind, we can effectively address chronic tension, alleviate inflammation, and sharpen our focus on important matters.
Various methods and visualizations can be employed during the relaxation phase to enhance the experience of deep relaxation.
